Hi, my name is Jessica Kmiec (pronounced Kuh-metch), and I’m a Winnipeg makeup artist with 13 years working in the beauty industry.
I graduated from the acclaimed Blanche Macdonald Centre and started my makeup career in cosmetic retail. There, I developed extensive knowledge in makeup application techniques on clients of all ages, skin tones, and skin types. Through company training and brand education, I expanded on my skills in colour theory, products, custom applications, consulting, and client service. I then moved onto freelancing in the bridal industry, and working on beauty and editorial projects with Winnipeg’s finest vendors and creatives.
My work has been featured in Martha Stewart Weddings (2016 Winter print issue), Wedding Sparrow, Huffington Post Canada, and seen on CTV News and Breakfast Television Winnipeg.
